Quali prodotti sono necessari per il trattamento di extension ciglia: un elenco completo per te!

Which products are needed for eyelash extension treatment: a complete list for you!

What do you need to properly perform eyelash extension treatment and offer a high-quality service to your clients?

A training certificate alone will clearly not be enough. The tools and products used during the procedure are important. If you think you will buy the necessary materials at the nearest store to your home or on any online site, we hasten to disappoint you! Professional treatment requires high-quality materials. These can only be purchased in professional stores (both physical and online) with a good reputation and excellent reviews. While you are thinking about which products you are missing, we have prepared a review of the minimum set of tools for a lashmaker. After all, the comfort of the work and the quality of the result depend on the materials you use daily and how well you manage them. We are sure you will find a lot of useful information for yourself!

1. You can't start without the lashes

You can buy all the necessary products, but one of the most important is still the lashes. To meet the needs of all clients, you will need to purchase lashes of different lengths, curls, thicknesses, and colors. It is mandatory to buy black lashes - this is an unshakable classic. You will also need packs of colored and brown lashes to create incredible, elegant, and bright looks.

2. Glue for eyelash extensions

Without glue, it is absolutely impossible to perform eyelash extension treatment. On the market, you can now find adhesives of any price segment and various polymerization degrees, but always remember to pay attention to safety criteria, the reaction it may cause, and its adhesive strength! To prolong the life of the glue, buy a professional thermal pouch thanks to which the glue will maintain its properties longer. We will talk in detail about how to choose glue for eyelash extensions in the next article.

3. Tweezers for eyelash extensions

You will need at least 2 tweezers to perform eyelash extension treatment. One is straight, the other is curved. It is convenient to separate the natural lashes with the straight tweezers and apply the eyelash extensions with the curved tweezers. It is also convenient to form fans with the curved tweezers. Choose tweezers made from durable, lightweight, and wear-resistant material. When choosing, it is important to pay attention not only to quality but also to shape. It is recommended to buy 2 sets of tweezers at the same time. During the treatment, one of the tweezers might fall, which will lead to deformation of the tips. You should be able to continue working regardless.

Also, don’t forget to buy a comfortable case to prolong the life of the tweezers.

4. Lash Palette for eyelash extensions: proper workspace organization.

The lash palette, also called a strip holder, is an accessory on which strips with artificial lashes are placed. An additional accessory to store artificial fibers and ensure ease of work during the treatment. This simplifies and speeds up the eyelash extension process. There are different types of lash palettes. For example, with elastic bands in the form of bracelets that fit comfortably on the arm. There are also ordinary lash palettes that rest on a horizontal surface. For convenience, you can also buy a set of lash palettes and change them at your discretion. The accessory is easy to clean and made from wear-resistant materials.

5. Smoke neutralizer: reliable protection for lashmakers and clients

No matter how high-quality, hypoallergenic, and safe the glue is, in some cases an individual reaction to it can occur. Especially with prolonged exposure, the harmful fumes of the glue can negatively affect the human body, causing allergies (this usually applies to lashmakers who regularly perform eyelash extension treatments). The appearance of an allergic reaction causes many discomforts. A lashmaker may stop enjoying her favorite work, sometimes stop doing it altogether. To prevent this from happening, be sure to buy a glue fume neutralizer. This tool blocks the toxic evaporation of the glue, neutralizing unpleasant odors and eliminating discomfort during eyelash extension treatment.

6. Glue accelerator: speeds up the polymerization process

This product should also appear in your arsenal. The accelerator will help preserve the properties of the glue when working in adverse conditions (for example, when the temperature and humidity in the room are far from those recommended by the manufacturer). The activator speeds up the polymerization of the glue, promotes proper adhesion of natural and artificial lashes, and increases the durability of eyelash extensions by preventing sudden and uneven falls.

7. Pre-treatment degreaser: proper preparation of lashes for the extension treatment

With the help of a degreaser, the lashes are properly prepared for the eyelash extension procedure. The product gently removes cosmetic residues, sebum, and dirt that prevent the glue from adhering. Be careful with the degreaser you choose! All professional degreasers must contain beneficial components, soothe the delicate and thin skin of the eyelids, and must not have an aggressive effect. For clients sensitive to fragrances, we recommend choosing a fragrance-free degreaser.

8. Primer: ensures impeccable adhesion

The primer helps further prepare the natural lashes for eyelash extension treatment. The product deeply cleans the hairs, lifts, and opens the cuticles. The primer will allow you to create an ideal and durable adhesion of an artificial lash with a natural one, significantly extending the duration of the extensions. Some lashmakers prefer to use only a degreaser or only a primer. But one product cannot replace the other. For example, the primer cannot remove the natural oily film from the lashes, so the glue will adhere worse.

9. Remover for eyelash extensions: not only applying extensions but also removal

The remover for eyelash extensions is a kind of solvent for the glue. In the work of a lashmaker, this tool is necessary because if a client comes to you with already long lashes to apply new ones, you will need to remove the remnants. There are two types of removers: gel and cream. Both products are easy to use; it’s all a matter of the lashmaker’s preference. The gel remover has a more liquid consistency than the cream one. Both products, if used correctly, do not penetrate the eyes and do not drip, which reduces the risk of damaging the eye mucosa. The client does not feel any discomfort during the removal process of eyelash extensions with a professional remover.

10. Fixing Coating: extends the duration of eyelash extensions

It is applied at the end of the extension procedure, creating an invisible protective film on the lashes and nourishing the natural lashes. In addition, the fixer gives the artificial lashes a glossy shine, rich color, and prolongs their durability.

11. Glue palette: reduces glue consumption

It may seem that this tool is not necessary at all, but in reality, it allows the lashmaker to save time, money, and glue consumption. The palette has small holes where the glue dries more slowly and retains its properties longer. The volume of each hole is the same and is designed for one drop of glue. Preferably, the accessory has a sticky surface that allows it to be securely fixed on the surface.

12. Related tools for lashmakers: you can’t do without them

  • Hand disinfectants and tools for maximum safety during eyelash extension procedures.
  • Disposable sheets, gloves, masks, hair caps, napkins.
  • Cotton pads, sticks, oil-free micellar water for makeup removal.
  • Brushes for combing eyelash extensions.
  • Micro-brushes of various sizes. A tool for precise application of products, as well as cleaning the lash line area.
  • Mirror for eyelash extensions. A necessary attribute with which it is convenient to check the process. It will allow you to see even the smallest lashes and do the work as cleanly as possible.
  • Pillow to offer comfort to clients during the treatment. The pillow will help relax the neck muscles.
  • Tape. With its help, it is possible to fix the eyelids to facilitate the extension treatment. Be sure to buy plastic and paper tape (preferably breathable or lint-free).
  • Patch. Necessary for isolating the lower lashes. In addition, patches take care of the skin around the eyes, nourishing and deeply hydrating it. Professional patches are always collagen and hydrogel-based. Never use adhesive tape to isolate the lower lashes. Such savings can backfire, damaging the skin and eyelid and, consequently, losing the client.
